2 jl kuning, 2 km north of the ciq. an upmarket shopping mall, open daily 10am-10pm. among the tenants are: metrojaya department store, cold storage supermarket, popular bookstore, and food and beverage outlets such as the coffee bean, kinsahi japanese restaurant, nando's, season's, secret recipe, sedap corner, sushi king and vivo.
Plaza Larkin
Jl geruda, opposite the larkin bus terminal. this is a place for those interested in the latest fashions, with its number of clothing boutiques. there is an internet cafe, a computer shop and a money changer on the first level. also in the same building on the first level is food court selera johor 'johore delights'; see 'eat, budget, hawker centers' section that serves mostly johorian cuisine.

12 jl ngee heng, 600 m northwest of the ciq. 6-level shopping mall is housed within the 10-storey podium of the twin-tower 35-storey menara landmark building. it only deals in it products - computers and accessories, and mobile phones and accessories. there is a small foodcourt at the basement.
Pelangi Leisure Mall
148 jl serampang. 2-storey mall located in taman pelangi. the main tenants are: giant hypermarket, golden screen cinema, superbowl bowling alley and mcdonald's. open daily 10:30am-10pm. causeway link's ct1 bus runs between kotaraya bus terminal and bayu puteri, via city square passes by this mall.
